About Bath Capital

Respect what’s been built.
See what’s possible.

Behind every established business is a story of commitment, people and hard work.

Bath Capital is an independent acquisition holding company founded by Richard Bath. We buy profitable UK businesses and focus on the practical work that helps them move forward.

Our approach brings ownership, operational focus and a clear view of the next chapter. We aim to build and combine complementary businesses, then sell or hold them where recurring income fits our model.

Selling your business

A clear process.
A personal conversation.

Selling is a significant decision. We start by understanding what matters to you, then work through the detail together.

01

A confidential conversation

Tell us about your business and what a successful sale would look like for you.

02

Understand the opportunity

We explore the financials, people and operations, with confidentiality agreed before sensitive detail is shared.

03

Agree the right structure

If there is a fit, we discuss valuation, terms and a practical transition before formal due diligence.

04

Complete. Then build.

Following completion, we take ownership and work with the leadership team on the next stage of the business.

A few things to know

Your questions.
Clear answers.

Still have something on your mind?

Ask us directly
Are you buying the business or offering advice?

We are looking to acquire businesses and take ownership. Bath Capital is an acquisition holding company, not a business brokerage or an advisory service.

Do I need to be ready to sell now?

No. An initial conversation can help us understand your plans, whether you are considering an exit now, planning succession or exploring a sale further ahead.

Will I need to stay in the business?

That depends on the business and your plans. We prefer companies with capable management already in place and agree any seller handover or ongoing involvement as part of the transaction.

Do you work with brokers and advisers?

Yes. We welcome introductions from brokers, accountants, corporate finance advisers and other professional intermediaries. Use the enquiry form and choose Adviser or intermediary.

What information should I share initially?

A short description of the business, its location, sector and approximate annual profit is enough to start. Please do not send customer lists, employee records or commercially sensitive documents at this stage.
